The Condensate Hood 2 (CH2) is a condensation removal hood with an Integral condensate gutter and a ½” threaded drain. The CH2 hood is designed with a slanted baffle to capture steam and water vapors more quickly with less drips than standard condensate hoods. The CH2 hood is used over non-grease producing equipment; including dishwashers and other steam producing equipment. Type II hoods are not required to meet NFPA96 Standards, however, when these hoods are a part of a total kitchen design, the air exhausted from the hood must be considered.
